ABOUT THIS BOOK:
Indiana Black Expo’s (IBE) staff led by Tanya Bell, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Colleen Heeter, Vice President of Development and Advancement, teamed with illustrator Rockland Page and IBJ Book Publishing to publish Avoid Course Remorse, IBE’s new Read, Think & Speak initiative that was created to educate, encourage and empower high school students and parents.

There are too many familiar stories of students not graduating from high school with enough credits to earn a diploma, taking the wrong classes without realizing it until it’s too late, or simply not taking high school seriously for various reasons. And in Avoid Course Remorse, characters Jamal, Nikki and Phoebe encourage students and parents to not only “read” and “think” through problems, homework and assignments, but to also “think” about their lives and to make good choices.

Avoid Course Remorse is a 16-page, full-color, self-cover book printed on 80-lb satin/matte white text paper.
